The Cairo Pharaohs picked up a win at Pharaohs Ballpark, knocking off the Karachi Falcons, 3-2. Starting pitcher Christian Perron played a key role in the triumph. Carlos Mitchinson recorded the save, his 11th. With the win, Cairo raised its record to 30-28.

The Pharaohs got a big at-bat from center fielder Albert Galvanoni. For the game, Galvanoni was 1 for 3 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season gave Cairo a 3-1 lead.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Galvanoni.
