Emperors Coast to 11-2 Victory
The Beijing Emperors had no problem beating the Paris Fleur-de-Lis, 11-2, at The Bird's Nest. Asbjørn Strømstad led the way. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for Beijing. Beijing starter Tse-peng Huang was credited with the win after throwing 101 pitches over 7.1 innings. His record now stands at 8-3. The Emperors have an impressive 40-20 record.

Shortstop Salla Usaama made an impact for Beijing, when he swatted a 2-run home run off Levi Kvistad in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Usaama was 1-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
