The Daegu Monks topped the Black Forest Foxes, 4-3, with left fielder Philippe Mollet playing a big role. Mollet went 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Monks in the win. Daegu reliever Husain bin Sariyah was the winner. His record is now 6-1. The losing pitcher was Bob Aguilar. Ki-heon Myong notched his 1st save in 1 chances.

Mollet had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 3-1 fastball from Bob Aguilar, he banged a solo home run to left, giving the Monks a 4-3 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Mollet.

"Very pleased with the effort on our side," said Mollet.

Daegu now sits at 24-36, while Black Forest falls to 26-34.
