Javier Villegas brought his A-game to help Rio de Janeiro defeat the Chicago Beefs, 7-1. The Jaguars have now won 5 straight.

Leo Brooks had a big 2-run double for the Jaguars in the bottom of the second inning. With Rio de Janeiro leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a slider from La`nh Vu, who is tied for 10th in the ABL in strikeouts with 69, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jaguars ahead, 4-0.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Villegas told the Rio de Janeiro Times.
