Falcons Rally to Win
|
The Karachi Falcons racked up a win at Muhammad Ali Jinnah Stadium, bumping off the Black Forest Foxes, 5-4, in 10 innings. Phillipp Wolfensberger, who started for Karachi, pitched effectively for his team. Minh-Khan Nguyen-Khoa snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 1.2 innings. He's now 3-4 on the season. Today's win puts Karachi at 30-32, while Black Forest falls to 27-35.
The Falcons got a clutch hit from shortstop Boris Komrskov. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Falcons.
"We didn't go down without a fight," said Black Forest manager DP Woodford.
