Toucans Pull Out Late Win, 9-8
The Sao Paulo Toucans pushed past the Santo Domingo Palmchats, 9-8, in 21 innings at Toucans Ballpark. Jeremy King was 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, to lead the charge. After today's action, Sao Paulo sits at 31-33; Santo Domingo slips to 33-31.

The decisive blow was delivered by Tutu Karim in the bottom of the 21st when he hit a solo home run off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Gabriel Cruz to win the game for Sao Paulo. The home crowd went nuts.

"We didn't go down without a fight," said Santo Domingo manager Huck L. Berry.
