Bing-zhang Chin, who is tied for 10th in the IBL in holds with 4, was terrific for the Beijing Emperors in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Cairo Pharaohs. His performance earned Chin rave reviews. The first-place Emperors have won 4 straight games.
The Emperors got a big at-bat from first baseman Yi-lin Han. For the game, Han went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 14th home run of the season gave Beijing a 2-0 lead.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager J Stell.
