Santo Domingo got a strong outing from Tin Trieu as the Palmchats defeated the Puerto Rico Coqui, 4-1, at Estadio Santo Domingo. Getting the save was Kil-hyun Kim, his 15th. Santo Domingo is now 34-34, Puerto Rico 40-28.

Steve Foster dealt the Coqui a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and Santo Domingo trailing 1-0, Foster, who finished 3rd in the IBL in on-base percentage with .429 in 2150, hit a 1-1 fastball for a 2-run single.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Trieu.
