The first-place Chicago Beefs took on the Mexico City Aztecs in front of a spirited crowd.

Yoshitoshi Murata, who is tied for 3rd in the ABL in quality starts with 12, propelled his team to victory over the Mexico City Aztecs. The final score was 6-2, Chicago. With the win, Chicago pushed its record to 43-27.

Chicago took a 6-2 lead on Joshua Etheridge's 5th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which Etheridge hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Mexico City pitcher Abracham Layar visibly frustrated.

"Glad to go home with a win," said Etheridge.
