Mexico City Tops Chicago, 3-0, Claims 2-1 Series Lead
The Mexico City Aztecs got an exceptional performance from starter Enreecko Vergara, who silenced the Chicago offense en route to a 3-0 shutout win in Game 3 of the Divisional Series. The Beefs could never get a bead on the left-handed Vergara, who threw 8.0 innings of shutout ball. The Aztecs now hold a 2-1 advantage in the best-of-7 series.

Vergara delivered a quality start for Mexico City. The 6-foot-3 left-hander allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.

"I had everything working," said Vergara.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Beefs Stadium in Chicago.
