Riding the 4-hit performance of first baseman Abdul-Wahhab bin Idris, the Havana Dolphins stopped the visiting Rio de Janeiro Jaguars, 8-5, in Game 3 of the Divisional Series. bin Idris hit 3 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring three times for the Dolphins, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

bin Idris had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the third for the Dolphins. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Havana trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run home run.

"We haven't forgotten how long this series might be, but 2-1 is a heck of a lot better than 1-2," bin Idris said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at El Estadio Latinoamericano in Havana.
