Rodríguez Blasts Emperors, Meteors Take Game 2, 8-4
|
The Melbourne Meteors defeated the Beijing Emperors, 8-4, in Game 2 of the Divisional Series. Making an impact was second baseman Manny Rodríguez, who hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. The win moves Melbourne into a 1-1 tie with Beijing in the series.
Rodríguez got the Meteors off to a quick start. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he hit a sacrifice fly.
"I had some good swings out there," said Rodríguez.
The next game is set to be played for Friday, October 11th , 2154 at Meteor Crater in Melbourne.
