Almost There: Melbourne On Cusp of DS Triumph After 5-0 Win
The Melbourne Meteors got a strong performance from pitcher Christian Lee, who stymied the visiting Beijing Emperors en route to a win, 5-0, in Game 4 of the Divisional Series. The Emperors could never get a bead on the left-handed Lee, who threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The Meteors now hold a 3-1 in the best-of-7 series.

Lee, a native of Astumbo, Guam, was dealing all game. He kept Beijing hitters off-balance, while giving the Meteors 7 quality innings. Lee threw 85 pitches, allowing 1 hit and striking out 3.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Lee.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Meteor Crater in Melbourne.
