Meteors Win Divisional Series
All playoffs end with joy on one side and despair on the other. Today, the Melbourne Meteors are the ones feeling overwhelmed with excitement, and the Beijing Emperors are the ones thinking about what they could have done differently.

The Meteors took a 5-3 victory at Meteor Crater today, which gave Melbourne a 4-1 series win.

With the win, Melbourne will advance to play in the League Championship Series.

"We aren't ready to go home yet," said Meteors second baseman Manny Rodríguez, who was named series MVP.

The Melbourne Meteors will play against the Cairo Pharaohs in the next round. Cairo won their series against the Oslo Voyageurs 4 games to 0. The League Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 17th , 2154.
