Foxes Hammered by Han, Drop Game 3 to Emperors
|
Riding the 2-hit performance of first baseman Yi-lin Han, the Beijing Emperors got a road win against the Black Forest Foxes, 5-2, in Game 3 of the Divisional Series. Han was 2-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Emperors, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.
Han had a consequential at-bat in the top of the fifth for the Emperors. Coming up with a runner on 1st and Beijing trailing 2-1, he hit a 2-run home run.
"The rain was definitely not preferable," Han said. "It worked out fine I guess, but we'll be happy if we see the sun next time."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at The Den in Stuttgart.
