Jaguars Win Extended Game 2 Duel with Beefs Behind 2 HRs From 2B Endacott
Behind the big bat of second baseman Jason Endacott, the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars have opened up a healthy early lead in the League Championship Series. The Jaguars topped the Chicago Beefs, 8-7, at Rio de Janeiro Grounds in Game 2, and now hold a 2-0 edge in the best-of-7 series. Endacott was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 3 walks, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2 to power Rio de Janeiro to victory.

The clutch hit was provided by Lich Huynh. He delivered a walk-off run-scoring single off Scott Merritt in the bottom of the tenth.

"There was a kid in the stands with a sign that said 'Rio de Janeiro Jaguars (probably) 2154 WBA Championship Series Champions'," Huynh told reporters after the game. "I told him, 'Premature, but I like the confidence.'"

The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 21st , 2154 at Beefs Stadium in Chicago.
