Rio de Janeiro Wins League Championship Series
After their 9-2 win today at Beefs Stadium over the Chicago Beefs, the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars will advance to the WBA Championship Series. Rio de Janeiro won the series by a 4-0 margin.

Leading the way for the Jaguars was center fielder Naruhiko Goto, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.

"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."

The Rio de Janeiro Jaguars don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Melbourne Meteors - Cairo Pharaohs series. Cairo leads the series 3 games to 0. The WBA Championship Series is scheduled to begin on October 27th , 2154.
