Pharaohs Win, Move to Within 1 Game of WBA Championship Series
Riding the 2-hit performance of left fielder Shojiro Jouda, the Cairo Pharaohs got a road win against the Melbourne Meteors, 7-5, in Game 3 of the League Championship Series. Jouda went 2-4 with a double and a walk for the Pharaohs, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 0.

A key moment came with one out in the top of the third. That's when Jouda hit a fastball from Christian Lee for a run-scoring double, putting Cairo up, 2-0.

"It was a solid team effort," said Jouda after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Meteor Crater in Melbourne.
