Almost There: Rio de Janeiro On Cusp of WBA Championship Series Triumph After 18-4 Win
Riding the 4-hit performance of first baseman Leo Brooks, the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars got a road win against the Cairo Pharaohs, 18-4, in Game 4 of the WBA Championship Series. Brooks went 4-5 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 for the Jaguars, who now lead the best-of-9 series, 3 games to 1.

Lino Bispo helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he hit a 1-2 curveball from Ciro Galasso for a 2-run double, to give Rio de Janeiro a 2-0 lead.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Brooks.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Pharaohs Ballpark in Cairo.
