Already down in the WBA Championship Series, the Cairo Pharaohs put on their best show, beating the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars by a final score of 1-0. Cairo left-hander Chinh Tran-Dinh threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. Cairo now trails Rio de Janeiro 4-2 in their marathon, best-of-9 affair.

Tran-Dinh confounded Rio de Janeiro hitters. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed no runs on 2 hits.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Tran-Dinh said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Pharaohs Ballpark in Cairo.
