Critical Game 5 Goes to Host Jaguars, 7-4
Riding the 2-hit performance of third baseman Dae-hwan Koo, the Rio de Janeiro Jaguars stopped the visiting Cairo Pharaohs, 7-4, in Game 5 of the WBA Championship Series. Koo went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Jaguars, who now lead the best-of-9 series, 3 games to 2.

Koo had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second to put Rio de Janeiro in front, 3-0. With the bases loaded, he hit a 2-run single off Cairo pitcher Ciro Galasso.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Koo, "one at-bat at a time."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Rio de Janeiro Grounds in Rio de Janeiro.
