Jaguars Win Again, Extend Series Lead to 4-2
The Rio de Janeiro Jaguars got a strong performance from pitcher Chinh Tran-Dinh, who stymied the visiting Cairo Pharaohs en route to a win, 6-3, in Game 6 of the WBA Championship Series. The Pharaohs could never get a bead on the left-handed Tran-Dinh, who threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. The Jaguars now hold a 4-2 in the best-of-9 series.

Had Bahupatu Ranjitsinhji not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Ranjitsinhji hit a 2-run single. That made the score 5-3, in favor of the Jaguars.

Rio de Janeiro manager Echo 127 said his team played a "no nonsense" game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Rio de Janeiro Grounds in Rio de Janeiro.
