|
Tokyo Fitzies starter Mathias Lefort pitched well against the Paris Fleur-de-Lis at Fitzies Stadium, leading his team to a win, 5-2. Lefort, now 4-5, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 4, walking 3, and allowing 2 runs. Jhong-shun Liu earned the save, his 2nd, for the Fitzies.
Tokyo took a 3-2 lead on Roderyk Komorowski's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Komorowski hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Paris pitcher Sunderi Govindraj visibly frustrated.
"We take it day by day here," said Lefort, "and today was a good one for us."
After today's action, Tokyo sits at 44-30, while Paris falls to 33-41.
