Home Loss Shrinks Voyageurs Series Lead to 3-2
The Rio de Janeiro Jaguars have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Oslo Voyageurs, winning, 5-1, at OsloDome. Jaguars right-hander Meany Pyne threw 7.0 innings of shutout ball. The win cuts the deficit facing the Jaguars to 3-2 in the best-of-9 WBA Championship Series.

Pyne confounded Oslo hitters. Over 7 innings, he allowed no runs on 2 hits.

"I had pretty good command out there," said Pyne.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at OsloDome in Oslo.
