Sao Paulo Toucans starter António Moreno kept the Mexico City Aztecs hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. At 39-38, the Toucans are currently 4th in the Americas Baseball League Latin American Division.

It could have been a different outcome for Sao Paulo, had it not been for Marius Combe, the 23-year old first baseman . Combe contributed a run-scoring triple in the top of the fifth inning to put Sao Paulo up, 4-2.

"It's nice to step up when your team needs you," said Combe.
