Tokyo 5-4 Losers to Falcons

The Karachi Falcons scored a tight, 5-4 win versus the Tokyo Fitzies at Muhammad Ali Jinnah Stadium. Karachi pitcher Susumu Okamoto held his own in the contest. The save went to Raúl Aguilar, his 2nd this season. The Falcons go to 35-43, putting them 4th in the Intercontinental Baseball League Asian Division.
Naveed Yousafzai was 2 for 4 with 2 singles for Karachi. The 22-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring single off Gustave Le Floch. It was his 95th hit of the season.
"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Okamoto. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
