Satyen Holds Beijing Scoreless
|
Madhavrao Satyen of Melbourne easily handled the Beijing Emperors, stopping them on 4 hits and chucking a complete-game 3-0 shutout.
"He really did a job on us," said Beijing manager Kev In. "He had good command of his pitches. He changed speeds well and confused us. We never could zero in on him, but he certainly zeroed in on us."
He finished the game with 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in a solid outing.
