The Rio de Janeiro Jaguars beat the Sao Paulo Toucans, 8-3. Rio de Janeiro pitcher and Sospel, France, native Christian Perron led the way. After losing, Sao Paulo is 4-6.

Birru Chisulo had a big bases-clearing double for the Jaguars in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Rio de Janeiro leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Peter Joyner and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 2nd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Jaguars ahead, 4-0.

"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Perron.
