Pharaohs Win with Late Rally
The Pharaohs earned a hard-fought, 2-1 win in 18 innings at Meteor Crater. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Melbourne pitcher Aaron Miller. Miller went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Pete Martin, 1-0, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 5 hits in 2.1 innings. Picking up the save was Mario Ghiberti, his 1st.

Hiroyasu Inagaki, the 7th overall pick in the 2150 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Inagaki contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the 18th inning to put Cairo up, 2-1.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant J Stell, the Cairo manager.

The win puts Cairo at 6-4.
