Close Win Moves Falcons to 4-6
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Karachi Falcons and the Beijing Emperors, 35-year old right-handed pitcher Folco Maini proved to be the difference. The Karachi right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Falcons win. Beijing, with the loss, is still a robust 7-3.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Kieran Morrison? The Karachi right fielder had a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Falcons on top, 3-0. For the game, Morrison had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
After the game, Karachi manager Slu Baseball applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
