Beijing, Melbourne Make Trade Monday, March 2nd , 2133 The Baseball News Network is reporting that the Emperors and Meteors have consummated a trade. Melbourne will receive 24-year old CF Petter Skjold in a swap for 24-year old RF Christopher Wallace and 30-year old minor league RHP Banjo Riggins. A league analyst called the trade a "fairly even transaction." In his career Skjold has racked up 105 hits with a .259 average and .312 on-base percentage. His numbers include 17 doubles, 7 triples, and no home runs, along with 47 runs scored and 34 RBIs. |
