Oka Big Deal in Melbourne: Hits for Cycle Wednesday, June 28th , 2141 Hideki Oka saw a spectacular performance go to waste in his club's 11-8 loss to the Karachi Falcons at Meteor Crater today. The Melbourne Meteors left fielder had 3 runs batted in and went 4-for-7, including hitting for the cycle, but his club went down to defeat anyway. "Everything they threw him, he was swatting around the field," said the Melbourne skipper Bob Meteors. "It really was a special performance for Hideki. It's a shame we couldn't win the game, too." Hideki Oka hit a solo-shot off Alphonse Mettler in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, struck out in the 7th, hit a two-run triple in the 9th, flied out in the 11th, singled in the 13th, walked in the 15th and walked in the 17th.
