Emperors Jahnet September's Top Hurler Friday, October 1st , 2151 When the Emperors skipper wrote Jahnet on the lineup card, it was a bad omen for the opposition. Outing after outing in September he took command and usually got the win. He dominated with a 5-0 mark and 2.27 ERA in 6 starts. The gifted Emperors star pitched 47.2 innings, fanned 30 and held opposing teams to a .229 average. For his excellent mound work Jahnet was named the IBL Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers. Up to now Jahnet has compiled an ERA of 3.42 with a 16-5 mark over 31 starts. He has 169 strikeouts in 221.1 innings and has held opponents to a .230 batting average. |
