WBA News: Playoffs begin Tuesday, October 5th , 2151 What months ago was a dream is now reality. The trade deadline has passed, along with all the GMs' wheeling and dealing. Contract negotiations are on hold. Front office work is all put on the back burner. Now it's time for each club, player, coach and manager to put their imprint on World Baseball Association history. Nobody will remember the free agent who got away. No one will care about the trade that fell through. People will remember just one thing about the playoffs -- the team that wins the WBA Championship Series crown. The Divisional Series starts today with these matchups: El Paso Thunderbirds vs Mexico City Aztecs, Santo Domingo Palmchats vs Rio de Janeiro Jaguars, Daegu Monks vs Oslo Voyageurs and Melbourne Meteors vs Beijing Emperors. |
