Razor-Sharp Segura Blanks Chicago Friday, September 27th , 2148 Sao Paulo Toucans pitcher Mariano Segura blanked the Chicago Beefs, 14-0, at Beefs Stadium, tossing a 2-hitter while issuing 3 walks and collecting 4 strikeouts. After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club. "I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Segura said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."
