Santiago, Tejano Snuff Out Alazanes Friday, May 15th , 2150 Daniel Tejano really had his stuff working at Estadio Santo Domingo. The Santiago Caballeros hurler mystified the Granma Alazanes, shutting them out, 3-0. Tejano allowed a total of 3 hits in the ballgame and struck out 7. "The shutout is nice, but I'm just happy we won," Tejano said with a smile after the game. "Coach can be a real bear when we lose." So far this year, Tejano has made 8 starts, tossed 59 innings, struck out 53 batters and walked 18. His record is 3-3 with a 2.44 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .215 batting average. |
