Meléndez Skunks Alazanes Wednesday, July 12th, 2130 Armando Meléndez hurled nothing but zeros at the Granma Alazanes in an impressive outing at Estadio Cibao today. The Santiago pitcher allowed 4 hits, fanned 10 and walked 0 in blanking Granma, 7-0. "There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout today," Granma manager said. "Not a fun day." To date this season Meléndez has compiled a 7-6 record with a 2.43 ERA in 13 starts. |
