Calleya Guns Down Caballeros Saturday, August 16th , 2132 Houston Rodeo pitcher Danilo Calleya really got it done at Express Park today in his 6-0 shutout victory over the Santiago Caballeros, shutting them down on 4 hits. "It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Calleya said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them." The 31-year-old issued 2 walks and had 4 strikeouts in the Rodeo win. To date this year Calleya has fashioned a 2.79 ERA over 155 innings with a 6-13 record. He has made no relief appearances with 156 strikeouts and no saves. |
