Lesage Awarded July's ABL-AAA Top Bat Prize Thursday, August 1st , 2148 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jean Lesage had few Americas Baseball League peers in July. The first baseman for Granma mauled opposing pitchers for a .421 batting average and was voted the league's best batter for the month. He finished with some strong stats: 7 home runs, 18 RBIs, 15 runs scored, 7 walks and a .470 on-base percentage. Lesage is currently batting .288 with 17 home runs, 48 runs scored and 58 RBIs.
