Florence's Miles Top Pitcher in June Thursday, July 1st , 2134 There was little doubt around the Intercontinental Baseball League that Matt Miles would be awarded Pitcher of the Month honors for June. Today, they made it official, naming the 33-year-old Florence Centurions starter the latest honoree. He thoroughly dominated the hitters who stood in against him, holding them to a .189 batting average while fashioning a 0.70 ERA in 5 starts. His record for the month was 3-0 in 38.2 innings of work. In 15 starts this season Miles has recorded a 8-1 record and a 2.16 ERA. |
