Bayamon Captures Wild Card Thursday, September 3rd , 2144 The Bayamon Coqui have won a Americas Baseball League wild card position. "I'm proud of my teammates and what we've accomplished this year. We really believe in this team," said closer Abdul-Basit bin Badr. Whether or not the belief is warranted remains to be seen. The Coqui will be heading to the postseason on the strength of their 71-57 record. The club will be looking to win its 1st WBA Triple A championship. |
