ABL-AAA Pick for Top Pitcher in June is Moya Thursday, July 1st, 2123 In June, Jaime Moya tore through the ABL Triple A like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 24 years old. The young Fresno starter posted a 4-1 mark and an ERA of 2.45 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 40.1 innings he collected 26 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .265 average. Presently Moya has a 7-3 mark in 18 starts with a 3.51 ERA. He has given up 114 hits in 100 innings, struck out 68 and issued 16 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .292 batting average against him. |
