Brumo, Hester Suspended for Fracas Sunday, July 8th, 2131 Leborio Brumo of the Fresno Stars and Casey Hester of the Granma Alazanes received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 4 and 9 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at Stars Stadium. Thus far this season Brumo is hitting .313 with 20 home runs, 64 RBIs and 54 runs scored. He has 98 hits in 313 at-bats and has played in 81 games. Season-to-date Hester has no saves in no relief appearances with a 6-8 record and 4.96 ERA. |
