ABL-AAA Player of the Week Named Monday, July 26th , 2151 It was some kind of week for Sami Malik of the Gary Smokestacks. First he hits the heck out of the ball, ripping it at a .520 clip and the next thing you know, he is voted the Player of the Week in the Americas Baseball League. Last week Malik went 13-for-25, chalked up 1 home run and 5 RBIs and scored 6 runs. Not a bad week's work at all. This season in 96 games, Malik has hit at a .255 clip with 96 hits, 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and 38 runs scored. |
