Mansur Pounds ABL-AAA Pitchers This Week Monday, August 9th , 2151 A hot-hitting week got Hakeem Mansur the Americas Baseball League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Houston center fielder slammed them for a .355 average, 11 hits in 31 at-bats, 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 6 runs. In the postgame press conference, Mansur shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that."
