Dennis Silences Sarasota Saturday, August 17th, 2109 Joe Dennis was dynamite at Stars Stadium today, blowing away the Sarasota Hurricanes in a shutout victory. The Fresno Stars starter had everything working as he held the Hurricanes to 2 hits in the 2-0 win. "He was pure nasty out there today," said Sarasota skipper . "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing." Dennis finished the game with 10 strikeouts and 1 walk. This season Dennis has 8 wins and 11 losses and a 3.73 ERA. |
