Weishampt Crafts 1-0 Shutout Friday, June 10th, 2129 The bats were ice cold today for the Portland Emeralds at Ecatapec Grounds. Ecatapec Aztecs starter Joham Weishampt kept the Emeralds cold all day, shutting them out in a 1-0 victory. In a fine outing, the 26-year-old hurler allowed 5 hits while striking out 7 and walking 1. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Weishampt admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves." This season Weishampt has 5 wins and 7 losses and a 3.03 ERA. |
