Yun Hurls Masterpiece Tuesday, August 3rd, 2123 The Bayamón Coqui were almost helpless today in their 5-0 loss to the Santiago Caballeros and hurler Jung-tae Yun. Yun kept the Coqui confused all game, spinning a 4-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Yun," Bayamón manager said in his postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 28-year-old left-hander had 2 walks and 8 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Yun said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." In 2 starts this season Yun has registered a 2-0 record and a 6.10 ERA. |
