IBL-AAA's Star Player Named Monday, August 20th , 2131 So far in his young career, Nicolá Figura has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Intercontinental Baseball League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Daejeon Monks right fielder hit at a torrid .370 clip as he collected 10 hits in 27 at-bats, 4 home runs, 7 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Figura on the season is hitting .261 with 14 home runs. His stats include 35 RBIs and 40 runs scored. |
