Bayamon Moves on to AAA World Series Sunday, September 19th , 2151 Bayamon Coqui fans are rejoicing after a 8-3 win at Foxes Ballpark has propelled the club to a 3-1 League Championship Series victory over the Curitiba Toucans. With the win, the club advanced on to the AAA World Series. "Total team effort, that's the only way we get it done in this one," said Bayamon right fielder Juan García, who was named series MVP. The Bayamon Coqui will play against the Florence Centurions in the next round. Florence won their series against the Shanghai Emperors 3 games to 0. The AAA World Series schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes. |
